Application

Al2O3
(Aluminum Oxide)

Alumina is the most common and cost effective material in industrial fine ceramics.
It is extremely durable and superior in abrasion resistance.
It has the properties of heat resistance and chemical resistance.
The combination of these properties & comparatively low price makes it available for a very wide range of applications.

- Wear-resistant liners
- Components for textile &
   paper manufacturing
- Heat-resistant components
- Wire-extension rollers &
   nozzles
- Pump parts & mechanical
   seals
- Components for semi-
   conductor production
- Tubes & electrical insulation
   parts
ZrO2
(Zirconium Oxide)

Zirconia has low thermal conductivity and it is an extremely refractory material.
It has the highest mechanical strength and toughness at normal temperatures in the industrial ceramics.
It has the thermal expansion coefficient close to that of metals, so it is combined with metals easily.

- Wire & pipe extension
- Various dies for extrusion
- Various guide rollers & cutters
- Various valves for air pressure
   & fluid pressure
- Various bearing materials
- Plugs for pipe extension
- Valves seats
- Ornament
Si3N4
(Silicon Nitride)
Silicon nitride is the fine-grain ceramics sintered at high temperatures in the non-oxidation ambience.
It has the strongest covalent-bond property next to silicon carbide and can be polished to a very smooth reflective surface.
It has the properties of excellent heat resistance, high temperature strength and high temperature hardness. The material is dark gray to black in color and it is a high-temperature structural material.
- Heat exchanges & burner
   nozzles
- Reaction tubes
- Cutting tools
- Bearings & guide rollers
- Engine wear parts
- Pin chuck, location pins &
   welding jigs
- Sliding shoes
SiC
(Silicon Carbide)
Silicon carbide is an artificial mineral and it is the only chemical compound of carbon and silicon with a strong covalent-bond property.
It has a hardness exceeding alumina and silicon nitride. It has the properties of strong heat resistance and excellent corrosion resistance.
It is especially strong in sliding abrasion.
- Mechanical seals
- Bearings
- Chemical pump parts
- Milling machine liners
- Burners & nozzles
- Ball valve parts
- Heat exchangers
SiO2
(Quartz)
Quartz is the most common mineral and useful natural materials on the face of the earth.
It is very abundant and widely distributed mineral found on the earth.
It has very various varieties, colors and forms.
It is an excellent abrasive and durable material.
It has the properties of high chemical and heat resistance.
- Glass and fiberglass
- Abrasives & abrasive tools
- Foundry sand
- Filters & timers
- Electronic circuits
- Tubes & boats
- Pedestal, solar cell & LED
- Jewelry
